Your Vocal Teacher
Adèle Pinet-Ogawa here! I'm a French voice teacher, singer-songwriter, and musician, proudly calling Ireland home for nearly a decade.
My mission is to help individuals flourish by connecting them with the arts, especially music. I wholeheartedly believe that the arts represent our most precious human essence, and it's essential we cherish and nurture our inner artists, whatever shape that takes for each of us.

My teaching values
Supportive
I create a supportive and nurturing environment where you can confidently grow beyond your comfort zone, which is crucial for vocal development. We thrive on a good challenge, but always remember: vocal growth is a marathon, not a sprint!
Adaptative
Recognising your unique voice and body, your lessons are fully customised to your needs and goals. My commitment to professionalism and science-based insights ensures you receive the most effective guidance every time.
Good fun
My lessons allow you to sound strange and experimental most of the time, so that you can sound exactly as you intend when it matters. Learning to sing is about letting go and finding inherent joy in the process, all while maintaining focus on the serious work that leads to real growth.
My qualifications
My musical education started at two years old, developing skills on piano, guitar, and harmonica, alongside songwriting since my teens. I've had the privilege of learning from diverse and exceptional voice teachers, spanning opera, musical theatre, and even metal distortion specialists.
Formally, I completed the New York Vocal Coaching 50-hour Voice Teacher Training with world-renowned Justin Stoney, and the in-depth Vocal Distortion Teacher Training course with Nicolás Hormazábal. As lead singer and songwriter for my band Hanmadi, I've further refined my recording, mixing, writing, and performance abilities, collaborating closely with brilliant musicians and producers like Peter Meighan.

Hear me sing
I have personally experienced the transformative and healing power of singing, which led me to want to share its profound benefits with the world. My own vocal journey has encompassed a multitude of genres and styles, not only helping me grow as a singer but also allowing me to explore and appreciate deeper aspects of my personality and humanity. Becoming a singer isn't just about technique; it's about tuning in and channelling your raw emotions into music.
As singers, we often constrain ourselves within boundaries of what emotions are "acceptable" to show, or what sounds are deemed "beautiful." Yet, not allowing yourself to confront those "ugly" sounds and uncomfortable emotions can lead to blandness! With practice and careful guidance, your voice will truly express a vast spectrum of emotions and sounds. I'm here to guide you in discovering your unique and limitless vocal capabilities.
